Skyrim Where To Find Black Soul Gems
I am a full fledged Vampire now and went to Hela's Folly to get the filled Black Soul Gem and it was not in the chest as shown in the video. Only got 55 gold pieces. I cannot go back to Dragonsreach or the College cause I get attacked there.
There is a merchant in the college of winterhold’s living quarters that sells them for a little more than 1K. He WILL restock them too, giving you a reliable resource for black soul gems. Hope it’s helpful. They are as powerful as Grand Soul Gems, and can also capture lesser souls. These can often be found in dungeons with necromancers, the College of Winterhold quests, they are also sold by Enthir in the College of Winterhold and Falion in Morthal. The Black Star is a reusable Black Soul Gem that can be obtained during the quest of the same name.
Where can I go to get a filled Black Soul Gem. Or a Black Soul Gem?? Keep following the YouTube Videos but nothing works for me and I am just barely getting started and yes, I went to Stroud Heath Burrow and no Black Soul Gems there either.Now, I guess I have to find a Geoode vein, if I can find them.

IMO they are both equal, its a matter of what YOU want. If you go with Azura you get the dark elf as a follower as well as the star(I forget her name), but you only get white souls like mammoths. She is a force to be reckoned with, let me tell you. Now if you side with the Mage in the Inn you get the black star, lose her as a follower, but you can get black souls like bandits & the like. I've done it both ways & preferred getting Azura's Star more to have the follower & as I stated before Enthir has an endless supply up in the college as long as you don't do the Thieves Guild quest involving him. Cuz after that he doesn't sell black soul gems or Deadra hearts, just thief stuff like lockpicks & strength potions & the like. Hope this helps.
I myself go hunting on occasion for souls to feed my weapons. Ill stock up on Great & Grand soul gems & fasttravel to the Western Watchtower & from there I travel on foot killing deer & elk, but my prizes are the elephant/ giant areas. There are quite a few all over the plains.

I always go home with at least 6-8 Grands, 8 or more Greaters & tons of lesser & petty's. It helps with stalking & archery as well. & for the black soul gems I get a few here or there from Enthir or that wizard in Morthal, but mainly I stick with Enthir. Also, in IronBin Barrow right by the Nitegate Inn & Wayward pass has a Battleaxe of firey-soul trap & the boss Guy always carries 2 black soul gems.
