Smash Ultimate Tier List
Zero, the so-called “King of Smash 4” competitive play and, has proposed a tier list for the latest Smash Bros. Game, one of the first comprehensive, analytical rankings since the game’s launch earlier this month.at the start of last month, some characters have made some serious moves, as seen in the video above. Inkling is now listed as the best character in the game — according to Zero — a big upgrade from nearly last on the earlier lists Tier 1 section.

Pikachu is an interesting case. Early in Ultimate's release, this character was considered the best by many players. But, general opinion now agrees that Pichu is superior. ZeRo notes that Pichu does pretty everything Pikachu does - but better.
Chrom has perhaps seen the biggest improvement, moving all the way from one of the worst characters in the game to the second-best.On the flip side, the hype for characters like Simon and Richter Belmont has cooled significantly, falling off the top tier. Rool, once thought to be one of the game’s best characters thus far, has moved down below both Donkey Kong and Bowser in terms of heavies. Ridley — bless is heart — has moved up a bit but is still one of the worst characters in the game.
And poor Little Mac still doesn’t have a chance.Interestingly, it seems that Zero forgot to tier Daisy — an echo fighter of Peach, the new seventh-best character on his list — and Dark Pit. Sonic also missed the list, but Zero commented on his own video that he has something special in store for Sonic fans this week. Sonic previously appeared as a top-tier pick in Zero’s initial roster last month, so he could potentially remain in a high position. The pro could have similar breakout analyses in the works for Daisy and Dark Pit, considering their absences.Of course, tier lists like this are all subjective and vary pretty wildly depending on who you’re looking at. According to the streamer and pro player, he simply forgot to add Sonic to the list before publishing.
